Es una&nbsp;<strong>infusi\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;de&nbsp;<strong>hojas<\/strong>&nbsp;de un \u00e1rbol de Sudam\u00e9rica llamado&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.taragui.com\/aprender\/historia\/ilex-paraguariensis-todo-sobre-la-planta-de-yerba-mate\">Ilex Paraguariensis<\/a>&nbsp;y a estas hojas se les dice \u00abyerba mate\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se&nbsp;<strong>prepara&nbsp;<\/strong>en un vaso de madera o&nbsp;<strong>calabaza&nbsp;<\/strong>con un tubo met\u00e1lico (la&nbsp;<strong>bombilla<\/strong>) desde el que se bebe, y puede ser&nbsp;<strong>dulce&nbsp;<\/strong>o&nbsp;<strong>amargo<\/strong>, seg\u00fan los gustos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 efectos tiene? \/ Welche Auswirkungen hat er?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El mate tiene&nbsp;<strong>cafe\u00edna<\/strong>, aproximadamente la misma que un caf\u00e9. Por ello, es&nbsp;<strong>estimulante&nbsp;<\/strong>y ayuda a la concentraci\u00f3n. Los gauchos en contacto con los ind\u00edgenas, adoptan el mate y lo hacen parte de su forma de vida y de ser. Toman mate caliente a todas horas y se convierte en un\u00a0<strong>momento de compartir<\/strong>, de socializar con otros gauchos. Ya he hablado en otra entrada de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/incolamundi.com\/de\/inmigracion-en-argentina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Argentina como pa\u00eds de inmigrantes<\/a>&nbsp;y este dato curioso sobre Siria y el mate tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 conectado. Entre los a\u00f1os 1850 y 1860 hubo una gran inmigraci\u00f3n desde el&nbsp;<strong>Imperio otomano<\/strong>&nbsp;hacia Argentina, y estos inmigrantes&nbsp;<strong>se acostumbraron&nbsp;<\/strong>a tomar mate. Cuando muchos de ellos volvieron a sus pa\u00edses, se llevaron esta tradici\u00f3n, la compartieron con sus familias y amigos, y con el tiempo, muchos sirios y libaneses se volvieron consumidores habituales de esta bebida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A diferencia de los pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica en donde se comparte el mismo mate, aqu\u00ed suele beberse en vaso de cristal y cada uno bebe de su propio vaso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mayor importador<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay tanta&nbsp;<strong>costumbre&nbsp;<\/strong>que actualmente Siria es el principal comprador de yerba argentina. Bebe una persona y lo&nbsp;<strong>devuelve&nbsp;<\/strong>a quien est\u00e1 sirviendo o \u00ab<strong>cebando<\/strong>\u00ab, como decimos, y el cebador vuelve a llenarlo y lo&nbsp;<strong>pasa&nbsp;<\/strong>a otra persona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No se debe mover la bombilla ni&nbsp;<strong>remover<\/strong>, y cuando al devolver el mate decimos \u00abgracias\u00bb, el cebador entiende que no queremos beber m\u00e1s.
